As most of you know, in summer 2001, John and Mariko sold their house, cars and, along with their four cats left their comfortable lives in the Silicon Valley for the excitement and adventure of the U.S. Foreign Service.  We hope this website will keep our friends and family informed of our whereabouts and hopefully entertained with the contents.
